MD sir’s visit to CSRI-CFTI at Chennai
LIDCOM MD Dhammajyoti Gajabhiye sir had visited ‘Central Footwear Training Institute’ at Chennai during his study tour. Where he Observed the following things:
- Testing Cab & design
- A baseline survey of the Institute
During the visit he directed to implement following services at LIDCOM
- Modernization of satara training Center
- Establishment of Cooperative Society & distribution of tractor van for the butcher community
- Distribution of Mahindra van for Gattai workers
- Design Deonar Leather Park
- Prepare draft for establishment of training facility at "Footwear Manufacturing Centre" Kolhapur & did baseline survey therein
Also he wanted to proposed following things at LIDCOM facilities
- Implement 'SPURTI Yojana'
- To start a footwear Design lab' 1st Rohidas bhavan Mumbai
- To start Bags design_lab at Social Justice Hall
- Prepare plan draft for building construction & Hostel facilities at kolhapur
